Our Homegrown Story

1934 Forward

Co-op Supply was established by a group of farmers in 1934 to serve the agricultural needs of our Snohomish County communities. We were—and still are—a true cooperative, a business owned by its members.

We added the Everett and Arlington stores in 1982, purchased when the Western Farmers organization dissolved. To better serve our customers’ and members’ needs, we added clothing, hardware, home heating and pet foods to our farm-supporting offerings at all three stores.

In 1993 we opened our fourth location, serving Lake Stevens and the Granite Falls area.

We launched our nursery division in 2014, adding live plants to our other agriculture, garden and lawn offerings company wide.

Co-op Supply is still a multi-generational member-owned company focused on equipping our communities for a home-grown life.

What’s a cooperative and what does that look like now?

Co-op Supply is a local, member-owned, independent equipper—a reflection of the independent farmers and home-growers we’ve served over the last century.

Co-op Supply members earn rewards and shape the company’s future. The company’s strategic direction comes from its all-member board of directors and our Annual Member meeting.
